The Origin of ComicSubz.com!

I know what you are asking. . . Where did it come from? Was it created from a gamma bomb accident? A radioactive panda bite? Or landed from space to be the mightiest web service on earth?

The answers, in order, are: No, No, and Yes!

Actually, the idea came from a combination of things.

My love for comics and seeing a problem that needs a solution.

While sitting with my wife over a dinner when I threw out the idea for ComicSubz to her (I will lay out more details of the service as the launch gets closer). I was expecting her to say, “Are you kidding?”. But when she thought about it, she lit up and said, “That is a good idea.”

If I could get someone who is not interested in comics at all, to say that it might work. . . I could not get it started fast enough.

So here we are today, with a holding page, the site currently in development, and high hopes for my little idea.
